James Carville

So we were walking down the streets of Denver and who do we see but James Carville. I am sad to report no picture because he was talking on a cell phone and who wants to be that ahole. But I have to share that he had on the craziest and most unexpected pair of shoes. He was wearing a completely normal navy blazer and jeans (which oddly enough is the uniform of this event not suits). But then on his feet he is sporting one of the wildest pairs of puma running shoes I have ever seen. They were black suede and super fuzzy with like metallic gold detailing.

The Biggest Shagging Wagon I have ever seen

Yesterday we were walking to the arena for the speeches and what do we come upon...a HUGE set up by Trojan Condoms. As part of the display they had a tour bus set up you could tour. It was complete with a bed and a wall of their products. I had no idea they made so many things. In fact the wall was so big that I had to take it in two pictures. It is really kind of odd to be walking to hear these amazing, important and powerful figures speech and along the way play the put the condom on a banana relay race. Weird.

Ohio Rocks! Ohio Rocks!

Please imagine the title to the tune of Cleveland Rocks...but I have to say the Buckeye state is a rocking place to be from here in Denver. Ohio has had the best events - so great in fact that some of my friends from other states want to come to Ohio parties. But unfortuantly with any great event there are downside. Today's downside would be my awful hangover and the 97 pictures I took yesterday but that I can't figure out what are because we were partying.

I just met Dan Rather!!!!!

Holy Crap! I just met Dan Rather. I was so star struck. I know I am totally weird but this was so exciting to me. My group and I were walking down the street to a meeting point and everyone else walked past him. I am way smarter than that and realized who it was but of course am not smart enough to make a intelligent statement to Dan Rather. Instead I point and said "You're Dan Rather." Talk about a stupid question. Anyway he was really nice and it was wonderful to hear his voice in person...for me at least Dan Rather's voice = news. Brad was nice enough to sacrifice for the group and he took the picture rather than being in it. So thanks!!

Colbert Nation

It is 1:26 am Denver time or to my poor body 3:26 which means I have been 22 hours. I just got back from the first night festivities and they were fantastic and I have many things to say but for now I have only one thing. Why was there a big ole pile of Cool Ranch Doritos at the ODP after part tonight but Stephen Colbert is not attending....as a member of the Colbert Nation I am offended....what's next bears?
